"Rooster" by Noelio Gonzalez Noelio Gonzalez from Orlando, FL created these two pieces, “The Rooster” and “The Racing Horse”. Yes, these pieces finally look like something we recognize immediately. But if you have viewed the rest of the Sculpture Walk you are a trained art observer, so what do you see? Noelio has drawn feathers of a rooster and muscles of a horse, in steel tubes. The feathers are fluttering and the horse is racing. What about the sculpture leads you to that conclusion? What other ‘movement’ do you see in the pieces? |
